Kov\u00e1cs J\u00e1nosn\u00e9 a Nagy Lajos Gimn\u00e1ziumban \u00e9retts\u00e9gizett, ezt k\u00f6vet\u0151en a Berzsenyi D\u00e1niel Tan\u00e1rk\u00e9pz\u0151 F\u0151iskola tan\u00edt\u00f3 szak\u00e1n v\u00e9gzett. M\u00e9g a diplomaszerz\u00e9s \u00e9vben munk\u00e1ba \u00e1llt a szentgotth\u00e1rdi Arany J\u00e1nos \u00c1ltal\u00e1nos Iskol\u00e1ban, kezdetben napk\u00f6zis nevel\u0151k\u00e9nt. P\u00e1ly\u00e1ja sor\u00e1n szinte folyamatosan tanult, 1990-ben matematika szakos \u00e1ltal\u00e1nos iskolai tan\u00e1ri oklevelet, majd 1994-ben alapfok\u00fa n\u00e9pt\u00e1ncoktat\u00f3i k\u00e9pes\u00edt\u00e9st szerzett, 2000-ben v\u00e9gezte el a Janus Pannonius Tudom\u00e1nyegyetem k\u00f6zoktat\u00e1si vezet\u0151 szakir\u00e1ny\u00fa k\u00e9pz\u00e9s\u00e9t, 2006-ban a Berzsenyi D\u00e1niel Tan\u00e1rk\u00e9pz\u0151 F\u0151iskola rajz szakos \u00e1ltal\u00e1nos iskolai szak\u00e1t teljes\u00edtette sikeresen, 2010-ben pedig a P\u00e1zm\u00e1ny P\u00e9ter Katolikus Egyetemen kiad\u00f3i szerkeszt\u0151 v\u00e9gzetts\u00e9get szerzett. Emellett sokoldal\u00fas\u00e1g\u00e1t is mutatj\u00e1k az \u00e1ltala elv\u00e9gzett tov\u00e1bbk\u00e9pz\u00e9sek, amelyeket hosszasan sorolhatn\u00e1nk. 1997-ben sikerrel p\u00e1ly\u00e1zott az Arany J\u00e1nos \u00c1ltal\u00e1nos Iskola igazgat\u00f3i \u00e1ll\u00e1shely\u00e9re. Vezet\u0151i tev\u00e9kenys\u00e9g\u00e9t alapos megfontol\u00e1s \u00e9s t\u00e1vlatokba tekint\u0151 vezet\u00e9si elk\u00e9pzel\u00e9sek jellemezt\u00e9k m\u00e1r ekkor is.
